Sax, Flute, Keyboards and Vocals

Randy got his first saxophone at the age of 10…and he hasn’t put it down since.  Music has been a passion for him for most of his life.  After receiving his degree in Music from UNH, Randy played with the group “OAK” through the 70’s.  Then, business called and Randy moved back to northern NH to run his family’s resort. It was during that time that Randy honed his keyboard skills while leading the three piece house band.  It was in 2012, that his best friend from the first grade, Voice drummer Brad called, and asked Randy to join the group.  It’s been a blast ever since.

Randy has been influenced by sax player Branford Marsalis, flautist Ian Anderson.  “Both of these musicians seem to play effortlessly, that’s what I try to do”, says Randy.  My favorite musical quote came from my sax coach in college….”An amateur practices until he gets it right… A professional practices until he can’t get it wrong.”  Words to live by…
